Effective Jan 1, 2014:
All NEW Comprehensive Major Medical policies (health insurance plans) in Texas will automatically INCLUDE maternity insurance benefits.

Beginning in October 2013: 
ALL of the Health Insurance Plans (policies) that will be included in our Quote Engine results 
....(when you ask for an effective date of Jan 1st).... 
.....will be Comprehensive Major Medical policies... 
.....with maternity benefits included!

You MAY be eligible for govt subsidies (tax credits) to help pay the monthly premiums, too! 
These subsidies (tax credits) can be paid directly to your insurance company each month!  
Then, you pay the balance (after the tax credit is applied).

Our quote engines won't show you the monthly tax credits UNTIL you apply for them.
There will be a link....near top-right of the quotes screen.
It will direct you to the right spot to "get your tax credit".

Then, our quote engines will deduct your tax credit from the monthly premiums.....showing you the final (net) cost-to-you each month.  

 

The tax credits are based on household income (and family size).

If a family-of-4 makes less than $100,000/year, you may qualify (for the tax credits).  
If a family-of-4 makes more than $100,000/year, you probably won't qualify (for the tax credits)

Our Instant Online Quote Engine can't retrieve accurate 2014 rates (& tax credits) from the govt computer system yet.
We should (might) have accurate rates available by December.


Open Enrollment (for the NEW 2014 plans) will be available until March 31, 2014.
